Check the status of your FAFSA , login, and make sure the ‘Current Application Status’ says ‘Processed Successfully’. Proceed to ‘View Processed to Information’. Confirm your identity with your Federal FAFSA PIN and click on the most recent transaction. Click on the ‘SAR Comments’ link on the left and read it carefully to see if it says you have been selected for verification. An * at the end of your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) number also indicates that you have been chosen for verification.

FINANCIAL AID CANNOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. Turning in inaccurate and incomplete information and delaying in responding to requests for this information may cause a serious delay in your aid. This may result in fewer funds being available to you. Priority is given to students who meet the priority deadline of April 15.

Verification documents received will be listed on the Student Requirement page in GoldLink will read as pending review until the documents are reviewed and completed with the Office of Financial Aid. Check your Student Requirements frequently because new requirements can be added each time changes are made to your financial aid.
